One of the most interesting unfinished left by Bob Barnett is this heavily sectioned and customized '57 Fords. The model was apparently finished in the late Sixties, but Bob tore it down and restyled it in the early Eighties. Bob extended the front fenders and rear quarter panels and retained the stock height roof (thereby balancing out the design). The doors, hood and trunk have been hinged. Note the stock frame in the foreground – once intended by Bob to be used.

However, sometime during the shortcircuited rebuild, Bob installed a '89 Cougar/Thunderbird unibody platform. A note left by Bob specifically asked Mark S. Gustavson to complete this model. It will be painted candy blue as Bob requested.
